I didn't start CALANTHÉ because the world needed another fashion brand. I started it because I couldn't find one I truly believed in.

Working in fashion showed me how beautiful products could be created. It also showed me how many compromises had quietly become accepted along the way.

Premium prices attached to products that weren't built to last.

Craftsmanship sacrificed for speed.

Sustainability reduced to a marketing message rather than a business principle.

I wanted to build something different.

Not by reinventing fashion, but by returning to the things that made people fall in love with clothing in the first place.

We produce to demand rather than to forecasts.

We work with carefully selected deadstock fabrics to make use of materials that already exist.

Our garments are produced locally in southern Sweden, allowing us to stay close to the people making them and to continuously refine every detail.

For us, quality isn't a feature.
